How am I a sustainable copywriter?
The digital marketing industry is notoriously bad for the environment. As an eco-friendly copywriter, my enthusiasm for sustainable businesses starts with my own.
I use a green energy supplier to power my business. Whenever I need new tech, I choose refurbished products over new ones, and always recycle old laptops and phones. I practice a strict 'delete what you don't need' policy for my email inbox, and do all my browsing on Ecosia.
I also practice sustainability in my personal life. I follow a 100% vegetarian (and mostly vegan) diet, and use public transport like it's going out of style. 99% of my clothes are sourced second-hand, and I'm a big believer in plastic-free shopping.
